While this is a widely acknowledged problem, with much being done by recognised treatment providers, it is likely that a broader range of treatment services than are currently available may be required.

We will support this vital process and have committed to work constructively with national stakeholders and experts over the next five years as they undertake an essential and comprehensive needs assessment

ACTIONS OVER THE NEXT FIVE YEARS

WWe will engage with national stakeholders and recognised treatment and support providers as they map capacity requirements alongside gaining a comprehensive understanding of need and agree to increase our financial support over the next five years to support delivery of this costed strategic plan

GOALS

 

Support a fourfold increase in access to gambling treatment and support services for people at risk, or directly affected by gambling-related harm, up from the current baseline by 2025. (Source: RGSB data)
